About the website

The Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation has occupied the Athabasca region for thousands of years. Their website is where members, partners and the public learn about the Nation’s legacy, Treaty rights and its work to protect traditional lands and waters.

The build pairs a warm, illustrated identity with a lot of practical content: news and Chief and Council letters, a full events calendar, member stories, and dedicated sections for the Dené Lands and Resource Management (DLRM) office, member services, business, careers and emergency management.

Key features

  • Illustrated hero with a custom forest and sunrise scene
  • News and events slider with Chief and Council updates
  • Monthly events calendar for community activities
  • DLRM section with consultation and water policies
  • Member stories, careers and emergency management pages
