The project
Sekweha means “for the youth” in Dene. The Janvier Sekweha Youth Centre has supported the community for over 10 years. It is open daily for youth aged 8 to 17, with healthy meals, a safe space and programs that weave culture and curriculum together, so young people can walk successfully in two worlds.
The site celebrates the milestone with a warm, illustrated look. It includes news and annual reports, a monthly activities and events calendar, Sekweha Stories about staff and youth, a Get Involved section for donors and volunteers, and careers.
